First 5 Sacramento Community Connections Grants
First 5 Sacramento provides seed money of up to $5,000 for groups of community members in Sacramento County who create year-long projects that benefit children ages 0-5 and that build lasting connections between community members. Community driven projects build connections by bringing the community together around a relevant child-focused topic (e.g., nutrition, literacy, playgroups, parent support, etc.). Funds are not for services or existing programs. Businesses, agencies, and non-profits are not eligible to apply; however, they are encouraged to provide support for ongoing CCG projects in their community.
